Appletree Designs is a boutique interior design studio in Paraparaumu on the beautiful Kapiti Coast. Our team of experienced interior designers work with clients around New Zealand and we are passionate about creating stylish, functional spaces. Our work encompasses all levels of exterior and interior design consultancy so we can bring your project together in a way that’s aesthetically pleasing and comfortable for everyday living.

We are a full-service residential design company, assisting clients with a wide range of needs including, collaborating with architects and builders, designing stunning fit-outs, creating custom-made furniture, window treatments, selecting fabrics, wallcoverings and accessories. Whatever your design and furnishing needs are, we can help.
In your initial consultation we will discuss the scope of the interior design work you require and what you want to achieve. From here, we’ll create a custom design proposal, including all of your needs, from specifications to design and supply. Our highly experienced team will guide you through the process, to ensure that you are delighted with the final result.
We provide a unique design service, covering everything from colour consultation, layout of artwork on the walls, custom furniture design and curtain making, through to full interior renovation specification. Being developers ourselves, we understand the building industry and bring a depth of knowledge and experience to every project.
Watch your ideas come to life. At Appletree Designs, we partner with you to build bespoke timber shaker kitchens that are designed perfectly for your space. Every kitchen we design incorporates the finest materials and signature elegant shaker style. Our in-house team of installers make the process stress free, and ensure a professional finish.
Window treatments are the finishing touch of any room, so it’s important to get them right. Browse our curtain studio library or speak to our team for expert advice about the best solution for your windows. All of our curtains, blinds and shutters are custom and made to measure. We also have our own professional team of measurers and installers.
Our partnership with The Gourmet Kitchen Company adds a new dimension to our bespoke designs, and we share a vision for creating exquisite kitchens. Shaker style kitchens are built on a strong heritage of craftsmanship, beautiful simplicity and function. Each kitchen is created using naturally sourced timbers and includes the classic shaker elements that define this sophisticated style.
