Consultation

We start every project with an initial consultation. If you need an interior colour concept, single room makeover, or a full home renovation, the process is the same. We listen to your needs and together we create a design plan for your new beautiful space.

Design + Installation

Our team will consult with you on your design needs and come up with a project package that’s tailored to your requirements. We’ll then offer ideas, finalise the design, advise on decor and provide a finishing schedule for contractors to work from.

Colour Consultancy

Colour is not only an extension of our personality, but also the surrounding environment. We assess each space individually and ask you questions about the way it’s used and your personal taste to confidently create a colour scheme that you are happy with. Our aim is to help you make a space that is timeless, unique and a tailored representation of your style.

Shaker Kitchen Design

We create elegant, bespoke kitchens. Whether it’s a large English-style family kitchen, a vintage-inspired design, or a boutique custom layout, we can bring your vision to life. Through our partnership with The Gourmet Kitchen Company, every element of the shaker kitchens we create is beautiful, tasteful and refined.

Bathroom Design

If you’re planning a bathroom build or renovation, we can offer original and innovative designs to bring one of the most important rooms in your home to life. We are lucky to have our own team of skilled interior designers and manufacturers, which allows us to custom-make any vanity you desire.

Window Treatments

We create quality, custom-made curtains, blinds and shutters and have an in-house team of installers. Talk to us about how we can create the perfect finishing touch to your windows.

Hiring an interior designer - how does it work?

The best approach is to talk to your preferred designer to see if you are comfortable with their approach and if you feel you can work well together. Once you’ve found a designer, the next step is creating a design package. Appletree Designs has a number of design packages, ranging from an interior colour concept and single room makeover though to a complete design service for a new build or full home renovation. We start every project with an initial consultation and we manage every aspect of the process from design through to installation. We are committed to meeting our clients’ expectations.

What type of projects can you do?

We predominantly work on residential projects. Our interior design studio is focused on all levels of design needs including, colour consultation, flooring specifications, bathroom renovations, kitchen design and supply, custom furniture design and supply, and window dressing. We pride ourselves on creating work that is current and sophisticated.

I live outside of the Paraparaumu area can you still work on our interior design project?

We are happy to travel for projects and have clients based throughout New Zealand. Contact our team to discuss your project and location.

What happens at the first consultation and do I need to prepare anything?

In our initial consultation it is important to be clear about the scope of interior design work you require. If one of our design packages is not quite right for you, we can custom make a design proposal for your consideration. If you have some ideas of what you would like to achieve, it’s a good idea to bring any visuals with you to the first meeting as this helps guide our direction.
